You can however push npc's around and make them glitch through walls with inventory items. Some would make the npc say something they would say when they take damage but no HP appeared to come off them. Tried many including the 160 lb dumbbell. Sadly haven't found any items that you can put in your inventory that work yet. Items confirmed to work: trash can, mannequin, metal barrel, large red propane tank. Bonus points to anyone who does a playthrough only using a piece of random junk as a weapon or defends their settlement medieval style by dropping stuff on raiders from the castle walls. No one goes hostile, and companions don't dislike it. Might already be a well known thing but fun to mess around with and could be useful to those that want to take someone's loot without having to piss off all npc's in a 10 mile radius.
